College of Computer Sciences at Amman Arab University Organizes the First Graduates Day
College of Computer Sciences and Informatics at Amman Arab University organized the first college graduates’ day, which included an extensive meeting with them, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Dr. Hussam Al-Hamad, heads of departments, and a number of members of the teaching and administrative staff, as part of the activities of the seventh career day, which was organized at the University.
This meeting came as an affirmation of the importance of enhancing communication between the college and its graduates and allowing them to identify their achievements, present examples of their successes, identify their trends and seek their opinions with the aim of supporting the college’s programs with continuous improvement and development, in addition to implementing a number of training programs and workshops that gain them additional skills and enhance their competition in the labor market. .
In this context, the Dean of the College, Dr. Hossam Al-Hamad, stressed the importance of the periodic meeting with the College’s graduates and its role in identifying their needs and trends, and monitoring their observations and suggestions, which will have the greatest impact on developing and improving the College’s academic programs. Attracting distinguished faculty members formed a magnet for a large number of outstanding students in high school. Al-Hamad also mentioned that the college will enhance its continuous communication with its graduates by organizing regular quarterly and annual meetings with them, expressing his thanks to the head and members of the Cultural Committee in the college for organizing this day, represented by its president, Dr. Kamal Alyan, Dr. Ghaith Jaradat and Dr. Manar Mezher.
The Alumni Day also included hosting specialized speakers from private sector companies who gave lectures on the skills required in the labor market, self-employment, entrepreneurship and the experience of self-employment, in addition to presenting success stories of a number of college graduates that reflected their pride and pride in their university. The meeting also included a discussion with heads of departments and faculty members to improve educational program outcomes to suit the needs of the labor market.
