Conference at "Amman Arab University" on "Contemporary Trends in Achieving Social Security according to Religious and Educational Perspectives"
Amman - The activities of the International Refereed Scientific Conference “Contemporary Trends in Achieving Social Security from Religious and Educational Perspectives” will start next Saturday, corresponding to May 14, 2022, which is organized by the College of Sharia and the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University premises, which is held under the generous sponsorship of His Eminence, the Judge of Judges, Sheikh Abdul-Hafiz Al-Rabtah Al-Akram.
President of the Conference / Dean of the College of Sharia, Dr. Bilal Abu Qaddoum, stressed that the conference comes from the university’s keenness to fulfill its mission and achieve its local and global vision that achieves the vision and message of the tolerant and moderate Islamic religion, which contributes to achieving security and safety for societies, and is working to rehabilitate scientific competencies specialized in knowledge and research in various branches Sharia and education, that will serve the community towards activating the role of religious and educational institutions on facing social violence.
Vice-President of the Conference/Dean of the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences, Dr. Hiyam Al-Taj, added that this important scientific event coincides with the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Amman Message in facing the challenges of social security, preserving intellectual security through the application of legitimate and educational purposes, and introducing models and roles of the updated developments for religious and educational leaders on facing of social violence,.
The two-day conference, in which researchers from Jordan and various Arab countries participate, will also deal with scientific and dialogue sessions examining social security according to the Qur’an and Sunnah, the role of the correct Islamic faith in maintaining intellectual and social security, preventive and curative measures that contribute to achieving social security, beside other scientific variety related to religious and educational aspect.
