M.A in "Applied Linguistics" At Amman Arab University
Amman - As part of Amman Arab University's endevors to expand the offering of distinguished programs, the Higher Education Council recently approved the creation of a master's program in Applied Linguistics, which is a qualitative major meets the needs of the labor market, and is one of the majors in demand.
In this regards, President of the University, Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, said that this trend represents a dedication to the vision and mission of the University that it pursues to create majors that meet the needs of the growing labor market locally and regionally and enhance employment opportunities.
Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Dr. Yousif Al-Qudah, said that this major represents a qualitative addition in the College of Arts and Sciences, and this major is considered one of the modern majors, and it will be the first of its kind at the master’s level in middle universities, and this achievement is the culmination of the tireless and distinguished efforts in the Department of English Language and Translation and the Deanship of the College of Arts and Sciences, the Deanship of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies, the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Department, and the support of the University administration in this regard.
It is noteworthy that Amman Arab University plans to introduce other qualitative programs in unique fields such as aviation sciences, computer sciences, information technology and others in the future.
