A seminar entitled "Jerusalem in the eyes of the Hashemites" at Amman Arab University
Under the patronage of the President of Amman Arab University, Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, with the participation of His Excellency Al-Ain Mudalla Al-Tarawneh, member of the Senate, Rapporteur of the Palestine Committee, and His Excellency Deputy Dr. Fayez Basbous, member of the Palestine Parliamentary Committee, and in the presence of faculty and administrative staff members and University students, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Amman Arab University organized a symposium entitled "Jerusalem in the eyes of the Hashemites", as part of the University's activities directed to its students via the Zoom application.
Prof. Al-Widyan welcomed the distinguished guests and opened the symposium by talking about Jerusalem and its place in the eyes and hearts of the Jordanian people, the leadership and the role of the Hashemites throughout history in fostering and defending the sanctities in all international forums. His Majesty King Abdullah II, may God preserve and protect him has also a significant role in fostering these holy sites since his succession in 1999, through his lofty directives, his continuous follow-up to the Reconstruction Committee, and his generous donations to preserve these sanctities.
Al-Widyan affirmed the University's keenness to participate in promoting the Arab spirit between the Jordanian and Palestinian peoples.
