Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities

Head of Department Message

We welcome you at the Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities. The department provides the university students with an integrated academic environment of a variety of practical scientific knowledge that provides students with the basic skills of various fields. The teaching staff is composed of qualified and experienced teachers that inspire and help students acquire general knowledge and self-teaching skills. 

The department seeks to have sophisticated  graduates that are well-equipped with various fields of knowledge ,achieve quality, protect cultural and national identity in order to face scientific and cognitive competition in addition to  implications of globalization. Moreover, it looks for leadership and excellence in education, research and community service in accordance with the international quality standards of improving students and guiding them towards the methodology of positive thinking and creativity through the student’s participation and interaction with faculty members. In addition to, the department seeks to renounce violence and extremism, and spread tolerance in order to achieve the active citizenship.
