College of Computer Science and Informatics at Amman Arab University organizes a Competition

College of Computer Science and Informatics at Amman Arab University organizes a Competition titled "Capture the Flag" in collaboration with CyberAliens. The competition was held in two phases: the first phase consisted of a 36-hour qualifying round, with 58 teams and 220 students participating. Each team was composed of four members. The final phase, which took place on the campus of Amman Arab University , saw 28 teams consisting of 100 students compete in the ultimate showdown.

Dr. Firas Abu Al-Adas, the general supervisor of the competition and a professor of cybersecurity at the College, stated that such competitions greatly contribute to enhancing students' skills and developing their practical experience in the field of cybersecurity.

It is worth noting that the third edition of the "Capture the Flag" competition witnessed the participation of teams from several prestigious universities, such as the University of Science and Technology, Hashemite University, Philadelphia University, Al-Zaytoonah University, and Al-Balqaa Applied University. Looking ahead, the fourth edition aims to expand the competition to include all public and private universities.
