
Architecture Students at “Amman Arab University” Discuss Innovative Graduation Projects that Promote Sustainable Development
The projects were supervised by Dr. Ruba Al-Omari, Head of the Architecture Department, and Engineer Maryam Al-Mashaykh, a faculty member in the Faculty of Engineering at Amman Arab University. The discussions were attended by a judging panel consisting of Dr. Farah Al-Atrash from the German Jordanian University, Engineer Roa Zaidan, and Engineer Alaa Al-Fares from Applied Science Private University.
The discussions covered pioneering projects with developmental and architectural goals that address local challenges and propose innovative solutions. The five projects presented were as follows:
1. Eco-Tourism Village Project in Balqa Governorate
2. Urban Agriculture Project: From Farm to Table
3. Digital Sports Project
4. “Juthoor” Rehabilitation Center Project
5. Heritage and Handicrafts Revival Center Project
