University Student Excels in Health-Focused Hackathon

Leen Nidal Noufal, a Data Science and AI student at Amman Arab University, has achieved a top-tier ranking (Top 2) in the "Future Health Impact" Hackathon.

The hackathon, organized by leading Jordanian health and entrepreneurship institutions, aimed to develop innovative health solutions. Leen contributed to a project creating an AI-based platform for breast cancer awareness and early detection. Her team was one of six finalists selected from numerous multidisciplinary teams across Jordanian universities.

University officials commended her achievement, highlighting its alignment with the institution's focus on applying technology for community benefit and developing students' practical, innovative, and collaborative skills. This success underscores the value of hands-on, interdisciplinary competitions in bridging academic knowledge with real-world challenges.
