
University Project Wins Second Place in Entrepreneurship Hackathon
A project from Amman Arab University has secured second place in the Entrepreneurship Hackathon 2025, organized by the Jordanian Engineers Association.
The winning project, named "Brich," was developed by university graduate Eng. Noor Al-Huda Al-Mustafa. It focuses on recycling coffee waste to produce organic fertilizers, promoting sustainable agriculture and reducing waste. The project was incubated at the University's Center for Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship.
The hackathon featured 14 teams from various engineering fields presenting technology-driven and sustainable solutions. The President of the Engineers Association highlighted the event's role in fostering innovation, creativity, and practical entrepreneurial skills among participants.
