
University Hosts Major Arab AI Hackathon Closing Ceremony
Amman Arab University has hosted the closing ceremony for the "UNI Agents" Hackathon, a major Arab competition focused on Artificial Intelligence and AI Agents. The event saw participation from over 300 competitors representing 24 Arab countries.
Organized by the IEEE branch at Tafila Technical University in cooperation with the IEEE branch at Amman Arab University (IEEE AAU), the multi-day hackathon featured advanced training workshops led by AI experts. University President, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, highlighted the event's role in fostering youth innovation and strengthening the university's position in regional technological leadership.
The ceremony showcased the projects developed by participating teams. Officials from Amman Arab University emphasized their commitment to supporting such qualitative student activities and promoting involvement in the regional tech ecosystem. The organizing university extended its thanks to Amman Arab University for its successful hosting of the event.
