University Graduates Compete in Regional Sustainability Challenge
Graduates from Amman Arab University have participated in the GreenXMENA 2025 challenge, a regional competition for innovative environmental solutions.
The team, consisting of engineers Samira Al-Dweik, Khadija Shaheen, and Lara Al-Maryan, proposed a project to convert sludge into sustainable building materials. Their idea was selected among numerous entries from across the Arab world and North Africa to advance in the competition, following specialized training from experts in various fields.
Supported by the university's Center for Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship, this participation underscores the university's commitment to empowering its students and graduates to develop practical solutions that address environmental challenges and promote sustainable development.
