University Debuts in QS Sustainability Rankings, Secures High Positions
In its first appearance in the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2026, Amman Arab University has achieved notable positions, ranking second among all Jordanian universities specifically in the Environmental Research criterion.
The university also secured third place nationally for the Social Impact of Education and fourth place for Health and Well-being. Overall, it ranked fourth among private Jordanian universities and 11th among all universities in the country.
University President, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, stated that this achievement recognizes the university's ongoing commitment to sustainability, quality education, and community service. The university also hosts the Arab Council for Sustainable Development, reinforcing its role in promoting sustainability initiatives across the region.
