
President of Amman Arab University (AAU) Receives Delegation from Beryin Municipality
Professor Mohammed Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, received a delegation from the Beryin Municipality, headed by its President, Mr. Ahmed Al-Farahid. The meeting aimed to enhance cooperation frameworks to serve the local community and support comprehensive development.
Discussions focused on potential collaboration in several areas, including implementing specialized training programs and workshops, involving university students in community initiatives and projects serving the Beryin region, exchanging technical and academic expertise, and conducting field research to develop municipal services and improve infrastructure.
President Al-Widyan presented an overview of the university's vision, academic specializations, and its diverse initiatives with local and international institutions. He emphasized the university's commitment to networking with local community institutions, including municipalities, to link academic work with practical application and employ scientific expertise for developmental issues.
Mr. Al-Farahid praised the university's role in supporting the local community and preparing qualified cadres, expressing the municipality's aspiration to build sustainable cooperation and implement joint projects that benefit citizens and enhance local development in Beryin.
Both parties affirmed that this visit marks the beginning of ongoing cooperation, stressing the importance of continuous coordination to implement proposed ideas and initiatives and achieve common goals for the public interest.
