
Pharmacy Faculty Staff Completes Advanced Gene Editing Training
Dr. Nuseibah Al Qtaish from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University has successfully completed an intensive 30-hour training program on "CRISPR/Cas9 Genome Editing," organized by AURUM BIOTECH.
The program covered both theoretical foundations and hands-on laboratory applications of the revolutionary gene-editing technology. Dr. Al-Qteish highlighted the potential of CRISPR/Cas9 for developing treatments for genetic diseases and creating personalized gene therapies.
Professor Dr. Rana Abu Huwaij, Dean of the Faculty, commended this achievement, stating that such advanced training enhances the faculty's expertise and contributes to the university's educational and research mission in cutting-edge fields like biotechnology and gene therapy.
