As part of Amman Arab University's ongoing efforts to enhance student participation in global issues and developmental initiatives, student Judy Al-Sabir took part in the Bukhlan Climate Justice Camp for Jordanian Youth. The camp was organized by the Bukhlan Foundation for Development in collaboration with the Royal Scientific Society at the Movenpick Hotel/Dead Sea, with support from the Regional Center for Energy and Climate Justice for the Middle East and North Africa, affiliated with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation.

The camp aims to highlight key contemporary environmental issues and discuss ways to adapt to the effects of climate change through a series of interactive workshops and dialogue sessions. These activities enhance youth awareness of their active role in addressing environmental challenges, in addition to discussing international agreements related to climate action and building participants' capacities to contribute to shaping fair and sustainable environmental policies.

Judy Al-Sabir's participation in this event reflects Amman Arab University's commitment to encouraging students to engage in societal and environmental issues and providing them with opportunities to be part of national and global efforts toward a more sustainable future.

It is worth noting that the Bukhlan Climate Justice Camp for Jordanian Youth is an annual initiative that brings together young people from various Jordanian governorates to deepen their understanding of climate change and environmental justice issues. Organized by the Bukhlan Foundation for Development, the camp spans several days and includes workshops, dialogue sessions, and presentations featuring environmental experts and young activists. The camp seeks to build a network of youth capable of influencing environmental policies at the local and national levels by equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote climate justice and actively participate in developmental initiatives.
