Minister of Awqaf Meets with President of Amman Arab University (AAU)
His Excellency Dr. Mohammad Al-Khalaileh, Minister of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs, and Holy Places, met with Prof. Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, and his accompanying delegation on Monday, November 17, 2025.
The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation between the university and the ministry through joint projects serving the local community. President Al-Widyan highlighted key initiatives led by the university's Faculty of Sharia, including Quran competitions and awareness programs designed to protect society from intellectual and moral deviations. He also praised Jordan's security and stability under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II.
Minister Al-Khalaileh expressed the ministry's support for these initiatives and appreciated the ongoing collaboration between the Faculty of Sharia and official institutions.
