Information Technology at Amman Arab University (AAU) Participates in the 26th International Arab Conference on Information Technology (ACIT 2025)

As part of Amman Arab University’s commitment to enhancing its academic and research presence at regional and international scientific forums, the Collage of Information Technology participated in the 26th International Arab Conference on Information Technology (ACIT 2025), held at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in Alexandria, Egypt, with the participation of leading academics and researchers from across the Arab world.

Representing Amman Arab University at the conference was Dr. Ayman Ghaben, a Collage member in the College of Information Technology. He presented a research paper titled "Comparative Analysis of WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet in Terms of Features and Security." His paper offered a comparative analysis of the most prominent virtual meeting platforms used in education and remote work, examining their technical characteristics and security levels considering the rapid expansion of reliance on digital solutions. The paper also reviewed key solutions for overcoming security challenges in these applications. The conference served as an important scientific platform for exchanging research expertise and discussing the latest trends and developments in information technology and digital transformation.

In this regard, Dr. Rami Sahwil, Dean of the Collage of Information Technology, emphasized that the Collage's participation in such specialized scientific conferences aligns with Amman Arab University's vision of supporting applied scientific research and encouraging Collage members to publish their work and actively participate in regional and international conferences. This contributes to enhancing the university's academic standing and keeping pace with the rapid developments in the information technology sector.

Dr. Ghaben expressed his appreciation to the administration of Amman Arab University for its continued support of scientific research and for facilitating participation in this distinguished scientific event. He also praised the efforts of the conference organizers and their role in ensuring the success of the conference.
