
The College of Aviation Sciences at “Amman Arab University” (AAU) organizes a workshop entitled: “Aviation Regulations and Licensing Standards for Technicians, Engineers, and Pilots according to the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) System”
In line with Amman Arab University’s commitment to enhancing students’ professional and regulatory awareness and developing their skills in accordance with international standards in the aviation sector, and under the directives of His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of the University, and with the support of Professor Dr. Malik Al-Salem Al-Anaqra, Dean of the College of Aviation Sciences, the college organized a training workshop entitled: “Aviation Regulations and Licensing Standards for Technicians, Engineers, and Pilots according to the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) System”, presented by Engineer Mustafa Atiyah from the Middle East Aviation Academy, with the participation of a number of college students from various specializations.
The workshop addressed the most prominent international regulations and standards related to the licensing of technical and engineering personnel and pilots in accordance with the (EASA) system. It also clarified the requirements for obtaining approved professional licenses and the importance of adhering to these regulations in enhancing aviation safety and improving the level of professional performance in the aviation sector. The workshop further witnessed notable interaction from students, who raised numerous questions and inquiries related to licensing procedures and future career prospects. Engineer Atiyah provided comprehensive answers supported by his practical experience in aviation regulations and technical training, which contributed to deepening the academic and professional benefit for the participants.
This workshop comes as part of a series of scientific and practical activities implemented by the College of Aviation Sciences at Amman Arab University, aiming to prepare qualified cadres in accordance with international standards and to enhance students’ readiness for efficient integration into the labor market in the aviation sector.
