IEEE EMBS Chapter at Amman Arab University (AAU) Participates in National Biomedical Engineering Day
The IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) chapter at Amman Arab University participated in the National Biomedical Engineering Day held at the Jordan University of Science and Technology. The event brought together EMBS chapters from across the Kingdom, along with specialists, researchers, and students in the field. The program featured scientific lectures on topics such as linear accelerators in radiotherapy, the future of artificial intelligence in biomedical engineering, and the design of modern surgical rooms and hospitals, alongside interactive student competitions.
The AAU chapter members, under the supervision of Mr. Malak Alyan from the Dean of Students Affairs, actively engaged in the event's activities, including presenting innovative student projects that offered engineering solutions in medical devices and biotechnology. Their participation provided a valuable opportunity to enhance knowledge, network with experts, and explore the latest developments, ultimately enriching their academic and professional preparedness in the field of biomedical engineering.
