Enough Bloodshed on the Roads" – A Theatrical Performance at Amman Arab University (AAU) to Promote Traffic Awareness
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, the Dean of Student Affairs—in cooperation with the Public Security Directorate / Community Police—organized a theatrical performance titled "Enough Bloodshed on the Roads." The play was presented by the theatrical team of the Community Police's Public Relations Department and was attended by Dr. Mohammad Bin Tarif, Dean of Student Affairs (representing the University President), Major Mohammad Al-Qar'an, Head of the Community Police Section in Al-Balqa Governorate, along with a number of faculty, staff, and university students.
The performance aimed to enhance traffic awareness and reduce serious accidents by dramatically portraying common traffic violations—such as speeding, illegal overtaking, using mobile phones while driving, and unsafe road crossing—within a tragic framework to deliver a clear message on adhering to traffic rules. This event aligns with the university's efforts to promote social responsibility and strengthen its role as an active partner with national institutions in spreading security culture and traffic safety. At the conclusion of the event, the Community Police and the theatrical team were honored in appreciation of their continuous cooperation with the university.
