
College of Engineering at Amman Arab University (AAU) Honors Its Top Students
In line with the vision and mission of Amman Arab University to support academic excellence and foster a culture of creativity, the College of Engineering organized a ceremony to honor its outstanding students. The event was held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, and was attended by Professor Dr. Husam Al-Hamad, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance, and Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, Dean of the College of Engineering.
The ceremony was organized in cooperation with Al-Rannan Jewelry, represented by Engineer Ibrahim Al-Kurdi, a graduate of the College of Engineering at Amman Arab University. This recognition comes as part of a distinguished initiative that reflects the strong relationship between the university and its alumni, and highlights their active role in supporting the educational process and motivating students toward excellence and distinction.
In this context, Dr. Al-Assaf indicated that the ceremony honored twelve (12) male and female students from the top achievers in the College of Engineering’s departments, namely: the Department of Architectural Engineering, the Department of Civil Engineering, and the Department of Renewable Energy Engineering. This recognition was in appreciation of their academic achievements and continuous efforts, and as an affirmation of the College of Engineering’s commitment to promoting a culture of excellence and achievement, and to supporting creative students to become exemplary models in their academic and professional careers.
Through such initiatives, the university administration reaffirms its continuous commitment to providing a stimulating educational environment based on supporting academic excellence, encouraging creativity and innovation, and strengthening effective partnerships with its alumni. This contributes to the development of the educational process and linking its outcomes with the labor market. Such events also embody the university’s commitment to its mission of preparing qualified cadres capable of making positive contributions to community and professional development at both the local and regional levels.
