
Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Excellence at "Amman Arab" (AAU) Participates in Sanna' 2025 Forum to Foster Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Embodying Amman Arab University's vision to support creative students and enhance their skills in the fields of digital manufacturing, innovation, and entrepreneurship, a number of the University's students participated in the events of the Sanna' 2025 Forum. The forum was held at the Ras Al Ain Gallery - Amman, organized by the Crown Prince Foundation under the 'Maker Space' initiative, with wide participation from institutions, companies, universities, and individuals across various sectors.
On this occasion, Dr. Samer Ayasrah, Director of the Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Excellence at the University, affirmed that participation in this forum represents an important opportunity to enhance communication with the national innovation ecosystem and to engage with industrial institutions and youth initiatives that encourage entrepreneurial thinking and applied work, contributing to the support of innovation and digital manufacturing. During the forum, students from Amman Arab University presented a range of creative projects and ideas that reflected their abilities in employing modern technologies to address societal and industrial challenges. The University's booth garnered significant interest and admiration from visitors and participating entities.
The participating projects were as follows:
- An FPV drone project and a 4x4 car project by student Mohammad Abu Amsha from the Faculty of Aviation Sciences.
- The MechaMinds Sumo Robot team, which included: Student Abeer Fayez, Student Noor Al-Nasayrah, and Student Huda Hammad from the Faculty of Information Technology.
- The Oct7 Sumo Robot team, which included: Student Ahmad You, Student Nawras Ben Tarif from the Faculty of Aviation Sciences, and Student Jehad Al-Awda, Student Ali Shaheen from the Faculty of Information Technology.
- The TriNova Sumo Robot team, which included: Student Sandos Kayali, Student Aroub Ghanm, and Student Reema Aql from the Faculty of Information Technology.
- The Lore Sumo Robot team, which included: Student Ahmad Nabras, Student Bisan Asmaran, Student Rama Ra'ed, and Student Youssef Yassin from the Faculty of Information Technology.
It is noteworthy that the Sanna' Forum is one of the most prominent national events that brings together young creators, engineers, and makers from various academic and entrepreneurial institutions, aiming to spread the culture of local manufacturing and promote sustainable innovation in Jordan.
