
The Architek Club "Architek Club" was launched at Amman Arab University (AAU) under the slogan "Mi'mari Sanfur"
In line with the vision of the Faculty of Engineering at Amman Arab University to support student creativity and foster a spirit of belonging and innovation, the Department of Architectural Engineering organized the launch ceremony of the Architek Club under the title "Mia'mari Sanfur." The event was held in a vibrant and creative atmosphere. The ceremony was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Hussam Al-Hamad, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance, representing the University President, Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan. The event was attended by Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, along with a number of academic and administrative staff members of the faculty, as well as students from the Department of Architectural Engineering and new students, to welcome them in their first academic year.
In this regard, Dr. Al-Hamad expressed his pride in the creative works presented by the students of the Faculty of Engineering, which reflect renewed architectural thinking. He emphasized the university administration's continuous support for student activities that contribute to building a vibrant university environment and fostering teamwork. He noted that the launch of the Architek Club represents a qualitative step towards enhancing creativity and innovation among students, creating an interactive space for them to exchange ideas and hone their practical skills, which will positively impact their academic and professional journeys in the future.
For his part, Dr. Al-Assaf pointed out that the launch of the Architek Club is part of the Faculty of Engineering's efforts to develop students' practical and creative skills and create a university environment that encourages innovation and teamwork. This enhances their involvement in extracurricular activities that contribute to building their academic and professional personalities. He explained that the Architek Club provides an opportunity to engage with issues of architecture, design, and the modern urban environment.
The ceremony included a range of interactive activities, as well as artistic and architectural presentations that highlighted the students' talents and innovative abilities. It also featured an exhibition of outstanding works presented by students of the Department of Architectural Engineering, which showcased their creative ideas and academic projects in a professional artistic style. At the end of the ceremony, the new students expressed their delight at this distinguished initiative, which provided them with the opportunity to get to know the faculty family and their fellow students.
