Architecture Students Present Innovative Lighting Models

Students from the Architecture Engineering Department at Amman Arab University have successfully presented their first projects for the "Architectural Workshops and Models" course.

The project challenged students to design and build physical lighting models, translating abstract concepts or personal narratives into functional art pieces like table lamps. The process involved comprehensive stages from research and ideation to sketching, prototyping, and final fabrication in specialized labs.

This hands-on project enhanced the students' practical skills in material selection, light manipulation, and sensory design, while deepening their understanding of iterative design processes. The final models showcased a high level of creativity, technical precision, and unique personal expression.

The initiative underscores the Faculty of Engineering's commitment to bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application, preparing graduates who can effectively develop and communicate innovative architectural and design solutions.
