Architecture Department Hosts Lecture on Sloping Site Design
The Department of Architecture Engineering at Amman Arab University has organized a specialized lecture on "Designing on a Sloping Site," presented by engineers from the Bashar Al-Bittar Engineering Office.
Held as part of the Architectural Design (5) course, the lecture aimed to provide students with practical knowledge about the principles and challenges of building on sloped terrain. The speakers discussed key architectural considerations and shared real-world examples from their projects, including Al-Safad School and the Central Hospital in Madaba.
An interactive discussion session allowed students to engage directly with the professionals, enriching their learning experience. This initiative reflects the department's ongoing efforts to bridge academic knowledge with practical application and prepare students to develop innovative design solutions.
