Amman Arab University Students Win Global "Best Social Media Campaign" Award from AEE
In a new international achievement reflecting the excellence and creative spirit of Amman Arab University students, its Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) Student Chapter won the "Best Social Media Campaign" award among the annual awards granted by AEE to the world’s most impactful student chapters. This victory was secured under the supervision of Dr. Akram Mousa, Chapter Advisor and faculty member at the College of Engineering, with direct support from Dean Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, who prioritizes student participation in international events and global engagement.
Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, commended this outstanding achievement, praising the exceptional efforts of the student chapter members and expressing the university’s pride in this honorable international representation. The winning student team comprised: Abdullah Abu Rabee’ (Chapter President), Mahfouz Abu Hanieh (Vice President), Shahd Al-Shob (Secretary), Rama Hissam (Social Media Team Lead), Reem Khashan and Maryam Al-Lawzi (Design Team), Hamam Al-Balawneh (Photography Officer), Adnan Ghazawi (Scientific Research Team Lead), and Ahmad Salameh and Hatem Enaya (Team Members).
This recognition culminates sustained efforts to raise awareness about sustainable energy issues through interactive, creative content that embodies environmental values and advances global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The team will be formally honored at the "Student Chapter Awards Luncheon" during the 2025 AEE Global Conference & Expo at the Georgia World Congress Center, USA.
