Amman Arab University Participates in "Intilaq" Award Workshop by Hussein Fund for Excellence and Creativity
Within efforts to enhance cooperation between the Center for Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship at Amman Arab University and local community institutions, Dr. Samer Ayasrah, Director of the Center for Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, participated in a workshop organized by the Hussein Fund for Excellence and Creativity. The workshop discussed judging criteria for the "Intilaq" Award for graduation projects in Jordanian universities during its first cycle for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The workshop was attended by directors and representatives of innovation and entrepreneurship centers along with select academics from public and private Jordanian universities. Discussions focused on reviewing and endorsing the judging criteria for the "Intilaq" Award, which aims to motivate students to submit innovative projects aligned with economic growth drivers under the Economic Modernization Vision 2023–2033, while enhancing universities’ role in supporting effective solutions to national challenges.
During the workshop, participants reviewed proposed criteria, exchanged perspectives, and presented necessary amendments to finalize the judging standards. Dr. Ayasrah contributed observations and suggestions regarding evaluation criteria to enhance transparency and quality of submitted projects. He emphasized that the university’s participation reflects its ongoing commitment to strengthening cooperation with innovation-supporting institutions, exchanging expertise, and solidifying universities’ role in advancing the national innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
