Amman Arab University Launches Centralized Database for Published Research
In pursuit of enhancing scientific research quality and increasing citations, the Deanship of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies at Amman Arab University has launched a specialized centralized database. This platform comprehensively indexes Scopus-published research by the university’s faculty members.
The database enables academics to search via keywords, facilitating rapid access to discipline-specific publications. This initiative supports knowledge accumulation, streamlines academic citation processes, and raises awareness of research output across the university.
A series of training workshops—directed by Professor Dr. Ismail Yamin, Dean of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies, and delivered by Dr. Mohammad Shehab, Assistant Dean were conducted for faculty across all colleges. These sessions clarified the new system’s functionality and benefits. Dr. Sama Taha, faculty member from the Faculty of Pharmacy, contributed a specialized workshop within the training program.
