Amman Arab University (AAU) Wins Two Awards at the 2025 English Language Olympiad

Students from Amman Arab University have achieved distinction by winning two awards at the 2025 World Universities English Language Olympiad, marking the second consecutive year of such success for the university at the national and Arab levels.

The Olympiad, held under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Minister of Education, featured 55 teams from various Jordanian and international universities competing across five main categories: theatrical performance, project development, English language testing, community service, and teamwork.

The university's team "Fluentish," supervised by Dr. Abdalaziz Al-Fawarah, won the Best Community Service Impact Sustainability award. Another team, "Lingua Champs," supervised by Mr. Tariq Al-Wraikat, secured the Best Project in STEAM Education award. These achievements highlight the students' excellence in linguistic skills, creativity, and collaborative work.

This accomplishment underscores Amman Arab University's commitment to developing student competencies in line with the highest international standards and reinforces its standing in global academic competitions. The university administration congratulated the students and their supervisors on this outstanding achievement, which reflects sustained efforts to promote English as a tool for leadership and innovation.
