
Amman Arab University (AAU) Wins "Outreach Impact Award" at Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025
Under the patronage of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Amman Arab University, represented by its Center for Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship, has won the "Outreach Impact Award" (GEW Outreach Impact Award) during the closing ceremony of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025 in Amman. This award recognizes the university's outstanding role in reaching wide and diverse segments of students, youth, and community members through a package of qualitative events implemented during the week, supervised and coordinated by the Center.
University President, Prof. Mohammed Al-Widyan, affirmed that this achievement aligns with the university's vision to prepare graduates capable of initiative and innovation, stating that the award serves as an incentive to continue investing in and developing entrepreneurship programs. Dr. Samer Ayasrah, Director of the Center, explained that this success is the result of cumulative collective efforts, highlighting the specialized activities in entrepreneurship, innovation, and future skills that were organized to build student capacities and connect them with development issues. The university confirms that this award marks a significant milestone in its journey to establish itself as an entrepreneurial university and will launch new initiatives to broaden its positive community and national impact.
