Amman Arab University (AAU) Participates in the 15th International Conference of the Arab States Research and Education Network (e-AGE25)

Amman Arab University participated in the 15th International Conference of the Arab States Research and Education Network (e-AGE25), inaugurated by Professor Alaa Al-Halhouli, President of the German Jordanian University and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordanian Universities Network, representing His Excellency Professor Azmi Mahafza, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The conference brought together a distinguished group of experts, academics, and representatives of research and education networks from across the region and the world. It was organized by the Arab States Research and Education Network (ASREN) and hosted by the Jordanian Universities Network (JUNet), with the support of the European Union.

The university's participation reflects its commitment to developing research infrastructure, enhancing academic cooperation at regional and international levels, and consolidating Jordan’s role as a leading hub for scientific dialogue and innovation.

Representing Amman Arab University at the conference were Dr. Mohammed Shehab, Assistant Dean of Scientific Research, and Dr. Kamal Alieyan, Assistant Dean of the College of Information Technology. In his address, Dr. Al-Halhouli highlighted the importance of the conference in supporting the scientific research ecosystem and fostering academic collaboration regionally and internationally. He also emphasized this year’s conference theme, "Uniting Minds," which underscores the value of coordinated efforts to leverage modern technologies in advancing education and scientific research.

Dr. Shehab noted that the conference provided a significant platform for international research networking and knowledge exchange with leading global experts. Dr. Alieyan added that participation in such conferences opens wide opportunities for joint research collaborations and strengthens the university's presence in specialized scientific forums.

The conference featured specialized sessions covering the latest global trends in innovation, scientific research, and digital transformation. It also included tracks focused on empowering women in STEM fields and the “Next Generation of Innovators” platform.

Amman Arab University’s involvement in the e-AGE25 conference reaffirms its commitment to supporting international scientific events, enhancing its academic and research presence on global platforms, and expanding cooperative research networks with universities and research institutions regionally and internationally.
