
Amman Arab University (AAU) Organizes Scientific Visit to Introduce Finance Students to the History of Currency in Jordan
Amman Arab University's Faculty of Business organized a scientific visit for Finance Department students to the Central Bank of Jordan's Currency Museum. Supervised by department heads, the visit aimed to educate students on the history and evolution of currency in Jordan, from ancient times to the modern monetary system.
Students explored museum exhibits featuring coins, banknotes, and minting tools, alongside explanations of monetary policy development and the Central Bank's role. The experience successfully linked theoretical finance studies with practical insights, enhancing the students' historical and economic understanding of Jordan's financial stability. The university highlighted the visit as part of its commitment to integrative learning, with students expressing gratitude for the valuable opportunity.
