Amman Arab University (AAU) Holds "University Integrity" Session in Cooperation with the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission

As part of its ongoing efforts to instill values of integrity and transparency among students, Amman Arab University, in cooperation with the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission, organized an awareness session titled "University Integrity." The session was presented by Investigator Zohair Al-Ayasrah from the Commission and attended by the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Bin Tarif, along with a number of faculty, staff, and students.

The session reviewed the establishment of the Commission and the laws governing its work. Al-Ayasrah explained that Jordan is a leading Arab country in combating corruption and applying integrity standards, in line with the political will to establish a national environment based on the rule of law and accountability. He also referred to the launch of the National Integrity Index in 2022, which measures institutions' commitment to integrity, transparency, and good governance. Dr. Bin Tarif emphasized the importance of such meetings in enhancing students' understanding of the institutional and legal framework for combating corruption.

The session witnessed active student interaction through an expanded discussion addressing the main challenges facing anti-corruption efforts, proposed solutions, and the importance of enhancing relevant legislation and awareness campaigns to build a conscious generation capable of protecting the national integrity system.
