
Amman Arab University’s (AAU) "Draw a Smile 6" Initiative Supports 22 Families
Driven by its commitment to social responsibility and continuation of charitable initiatives launched in recent years, Amman Arab University’s Faculty of Business introduced the "Draw a Smile 6" charity campaign. The initiative saw contributions from students, academic, and administrative staff, who donated new clothing distributed to 22 families in Ein Al-Basha (Factory Area) and Al-Mdmar. Supervised by Dr. Basma Abu Jabr, the campaign brought joy to underprivileged families during Eid al-Adha, fostering human solidarity and drawing smiles from beneficiaries. Community representatives commended the university’s humanitarian role in instilling values of mutual support among students.
Dr. Ahoud Al-Khasawneh, Dean of the Faculty of Business, emphasized that the initiative was launched with the support of University President Prof. Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, who prioritizes strengthening the university’s community service role and embedding values of giving and social solidarity. She noted that the campaign aligns with the university’s vision for impactful community partnerships, engaging students and staff in supporting vulnerable groups and enhancing their social responsibility.
Dr. Al-Khasawneh highlighted the university’s sustained focus on humanitarian and developmental initiatives, consistently launching programs to improve the livelihoods of needy families. These efforts reflect the institution’s core values in advancing sustainable development and reinforcing community solidarity.
