“Amman Arab University” Continues its Progress in the QS Classification of Arab Universities for the Year 2024

“Amman Arab University” Continues its Progress in the QS Classification of Arab Universities for the Year 2024

Amman Arab University advanced 20 places in the QS classification of Arab universities for the year 2024, ranking (111) at the level of Arab universities, ranked (14) at the level of all Jordanian universities, and ranked (6) at the level of private universities. The University also achieved great progress in many standards, including the quality of teaching,Scientific research and the impact of the website, as the university ranking results were announced during the activities of the QS Summit for Arab Universities, which was recently held in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Dr. Hossam Al-Hamad, Assistant to the President for Planning and Quality Assurance, participated in the summit activities as a representative of the University President, Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, over three days. The University received the classification certificate from the President of the QS Organization, Mr. Nizo Quacquarelli, and Professor. Dhafer Al-Sarayrah, Chairman Accreditation of Higher Education for Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions.

The President of the University, Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, indicated that the university’s advancement of 20 places in the QS classification comes as a result of the efforts of its academic and administrative staff to create a distinguished educational environment that qualifies the university’s students scientifically and professionally for the requirements of the labor market, appreciating their efforts and the efforts of the Accreditation and Classification Department in following up on classification standards and developing and implementing improvement and development plans.

It is noteworthy that the QS World Classification relies on ranking universities on specific criteria, including the academic and employment reputation of the university, scientific research published in prestigious scientific journals and their citations, partnerships and international representation.
