Discussions to Enhance Academic Cooperation between "Amman Arab University" and the Embassy of the Republic of Sudan

Amman - President of Amman Arab University, Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, and the Consul at the Sudanese Embassy in Jordan, Ms. Fatima Salah Mohieldin, discussed enhancing aspects of academic, scientific and research cooperation and accepting more Sudanese students at the university, in the presence of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Ikhlas Al-Tarwana and Mr. Anas Kasu from the Department of Media and public relations.

During the meeting, the establishment of Amman Arab University, the stages the university has gone through, the available programs at the university, and the university’s philosophy of taking the aspects of excellence and creating a competitive advantage in several directions, the most important of which are unique majors in the Middle East, such as avionics, aircraft maintenance, Digital marketing, and cybersecurity specialization, and from another perspective, the university obtained the ISO 21001:2018 certificate for educational institutions, which is the latest international standard in educational quality management, to be one of the first Jordanian universities to obtain this certificate, and he stressed that the university is always striving to create  Partnerships for academic exchange, students and research projects, especially with the Sudanese side.

For her part, Mrs. Fatima Mohieldin praised the educational level in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in general and in Amman Arab University in particular, the continuous progress at the level of international universities and the presence of distinguished teaching cadres, and expressed her happiness to be in the university, which is distinguished in its location with a unique university environment that works on psychological comfort.
 On the other hand, Mrs. Fatima said that the embassy will work to attract distinguished students to study at the university and network between Amman Arab University and Sudanese universities.
