College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at “Amman Arab University” Participates in the International Conference on the Arabic Language in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
Amman Arab University participated in the activities of the First Jordanian International Conference on the Arabic Language in the Age of Artificial Intelligence, which was held at the Jordanian Arabic Language Academy, where the University was represented in the conference proceedings by a faculty member at the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences, Dr. Anas Al-Hanandeh.
Dr. Al-Hanandah presented a research paper entitled “Arabic Language and Artificial Intelligence Applications: Opportunities, Challenges, and Future Prospects,” in which he pointed to the relationship between artificial intelligence applications and the Arabic language. He also reviewed the research published in the field of employing artificial intelligence to serve the Arabic language, and identifying the reality of the use of these applications and the extent to which its impact, and pointing to the enormous opportunities that artificial intelligence provides by using its modern models to understand and scrutinize content.
During Al-Hanandah’s presentation of his research paper, the challenges facing these applications in this field were discussed, and the emerging Arab achievements in the field of artificial intelligence were presented, which help in bridging the gap between the Arabic language and modern technology, and an exploration of the future prospects for applications of artificial intelligence and the Arabic language and how to employ them in learning and teaching the Arabic language. This participation comes in line with Amman Arab University’s interest and keenness to have faculty members participate in such events to exchange experiences with academics in various academic fields.
