College of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University Presents a lecture on Antibiotics at Swieleh Community Services Center
Coping with the principle of social responsibility at Amman Arab University, and the role of the College of Pharmacy at the University in raising awareness of the local community, Dr. May Al-Hawamda - College of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University and a number of college students presented an awareness workshop on the misuse of antibiotics at the Sweileh Center for Community Services as part of an empowerment program for a group of mothers.
Dr. Al-Hawamda provided important advice and guidance on how to take antibiotics, ways to save them and when to dose them, and the clinical cases to use antibiotics. She warned of the dangers of poor use of antibiotics, taking them without a prescription and using them for clinical cases caused by viruses. The participants showed a prominent interaction with students, appreciating the role of the University and the college in disseminating awareness among members of the local community.
