President of "Amman Arab University" Receives Fulbright Office Delegation / Jordan
Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, welcomed a delegation from the Fulbright Office in Jordan, including Dr. Mark Johnson, technical advisor for the LINKS Program, along with Fulbright representatives Ms. Aya Al-Sharafa and Ms. Sajeda Al-Raslan. Dr. Mohammad Sahwil, Director of the International Office and External Relations at the university, was also present.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Widyan emphasized the university’s commitment to providing quality education, research, and community service that aligns with labor market needs and sustainable development goals. He highlighted the importance of building local and international partnerships and utilizing technology to support faculty and student training at leading global universities. He also discussed the value of Fulbright scholarships for both students and faculty across various fields and expressed the university's interest in the LINKS Program, outlining how it could further the university’s priorities.
