Yemeni student Rasha Sultan, from Amman Arab University’s College of Pharmacy, recently joined the First Medical Debates Conference, held at the German Jordanian University. This “Med-debate” event, organized by the Biomedical Engineering Club, brought students from Jordanian universities together to discuss vital medical issues.

Rasha served as a judge, evaluating debates on a range of health topics and was awarded a certificate of appreciation for her role. The conference aimed to spark meaningful scientific dialogue and tackle current health challenges with five panels focusing on key medical topics.

Supported by Prof. Rana Abu-Huwaij, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Rasha’s participation highlights the college’s dedication to nurturing student leadership and encouraging involvement, especially among international students. These experiences not only help students build skills and expand their knowledge but also offer practical learning and foster connections across universities as well as strengthen education and research in the health field.
