"Students and Future Pioneers": Amman Arab University's (AAU) Core Objective for Achieving Leadership and Innovation
In a step that embodies Amman Arab University's deep commitment to guiding young generations towards a promising academic future, the University's Marketing Department, under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Nassar, Director of the Department, participated in the Universities Forum organized by the Islamic Scientific College School. The forum featured a selection of universities and educational institutions.
The University was represented at the forum's events by Batoul Al-Shwaitir and Eman Ghanaim from the Marketing Department, alongside a number of students from various faculties: Student Ibraheem Ghanem from the Faculty of Business, Student Aseel Al-Jamal from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and Student Israa Al-Salamat from the Faculty of Law.
This meeting formed a vibrant interactive platform for high school students, providing them with a valuable opportunity to explore the academic and training programs offered by the University and to learn about the most prominent available academic specializations. This contributes to guiding them towards the optimal choice for their university path. The event also spotlighted scientific specializations that have seen notable development recently, alongside a comprehensive showcase of the University's faculties, academic programs, distinguished educational system, and graduate follow-up mechanisms. The scholarships offered by the University and its competitive tuition fees, which provide higher education opportunities to a wide segment of students, were also introduced.
The University team was keen to provide thorough explanations and answer students' inquiries regarding their academic and professional futures, in addition to distributing promotional gifts and informational materials that enriched the experience and increased visitor engagement.
In this context, the Faculty of Aviation Sciences at Amman Arab University stood out as one of the most prominent leading faculties at the regional level, due to its achievements and prestigious international accreditations. The Faculty offers Bachelor's programs in Aircraft Maintenance, Avionics, and Aviation Management. It has obtained European accreditation from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) as a training center for conducting EASA-Part 147 examinations for both Aircraft Maintenance (B1) and Avionics (B2) specializations, which qualifies its graduates to obtain maintenance licenses accredited by the European Union. The Faculty also earned accreditation from the International Aviation Accreditation Board (AABI) in the United States for its Bachelor's program in Aircraft Maintenance, ranking first in the Arab world and eighth globally in this specialization. Additionally, it holds accreditation from the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (JCARC), enabling its graduates to obtain local licenses. These achievements exemplify the pioneering status of Amman Arab University in the field of aviation sciences at both the regional and international levels.
For his part, Dr. Nassar emphasized the importance of participating in such educational events, stressing their role in enabling students to make informed decisions about their university futures. He stated, "At Amman Arab University, we believe that students are the leaders of the future. From this standpoint, we are committed to providing them with all the information and guidance that enhances their academic and professional readiness."
