
Faculty of Arts and Sciences at "Amman Arab" (AAU) Holds Interactive Meeting to Enhance Dialogue Between Students and Faculty Members
In accordance with the directives of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the University held a meeting for its Master's and Bachelor's degree students. This meeting is part of a series of periodic sessions organized by the Faculty Deanship with students, who are the cornerstone of the educational process at the University. The meeting was attended by: Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Khawaldeh, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Ahmad Tawalbeh, Assistant Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Mohammad Al-Ajaleen, Head of the English Language and Translation Department; Dr. Fatima Kassab, Head of the Basic Humanities and Scientific Sciences Department; Dr. Iman Bassam, Head of the Mathematics Department; and faculty members of the Faculty.
Dr. Al-Khawaldeh began the meeting by welcoming the students, explaining that its aim was to enhance direct communication with them and to listen to their observations and suggestions for developing the educational process, in addition to fostering a stimulating and productive learning environment. He stressed the importance of attending lectures and adhering to the University's instructions and regulations.
For his part, Dr. Tawalbeh pointed out the importance of student participation in extracurricular activities and training courses, due to their positive impact on developing student skills and shaping their character. During the meeting, the department heads also emphasized the importance of academic guidance and its follow-up by faculty members, to ensure the provision of necessary support for students and to guide them towards academic excellence.
A number of the Faculty's graduates shared their university experiences during the meeting, encouraging students to greatly benefit from the academic expertise available in the Faculty. They answered students' questions and inquiries regarding academic affairs with full clarity. The meeting concluded by honoring a group of distinguished students in appreciation of their active contribution to the success of the Faculty's activities and for enhancing a spirit of cooperation and creativity among the student body.
