Driven by its commitment to active engagement in national events serving society and advancing technical education, and under the directives of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, regarding faculty involvement in strategically significant academic activities, the University participated in the 12th National Technology Festival.

Hosted by Hussein Technical University and co-organized by the IEEE Jordan Section under the slogan "Youth Leading Technological Transformation and Innovation," the University was represented by Professor Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Dr. Raad Al-Samadi, Head of the Finance Department at the Faculty of Business; and Dr. Israa Malkawi, Faculty Member at the Faculty of Pharmacy.

Dr. Al-Assaf, who served on the Festival's Steering Committee, expressed pride in this qualitative experience that brought together elite students, engineers, and academics from 22 Jordanian universities. The event fostered an atmosphere of creative competition, knowledge exchange, and pioneering technological solutions. Participants emphasized the importance of aligning higher education outcomes with labor market needs and enhancing students' innovation culture. During the Festival, Professor Dr. Ismail Al-Hinti, President of Hussein Technical University, honored Dr. Al-Assaf in recognition of his active participation and efforts as a Steering Committee member.

Dr. Al-Samadi, a member of the judging panel comprising academics and specialists from various institutions, affirmed that the participating projects reflected a high level of creativity and innovative thinking. He noted that such events contribute to fostering a stimulating university environment and demonstrate the growing advancement in Jordan's higher education outputs, particularly in technical and innovative fields.

Dr. Malkawi participated in evaluating projects within the "Health Technology and Biotech Applications" track – a main pillar of the Festival focusing on showcasing cutting-edge technological innovations and their applications in health and medical fields.

The Festival featured competition among over 100 student teams who presented graduation projects across specialized technological tracks. The program also included panel discussions and scientific lectures delivered by public and private sector experts addressing vital themes such as the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan (NEEAP), cybersecurity, digital transformation, modern education technologies, and challenges in implementing green technology.

Serving as a leading national platform celebrating student innovation and creativity in technical fields, this year's Festival attracted over 400 student projects from various Jordanian universities, addressing advanced topics in artificial intelligence, renewable energy, financial technology, augmented reality applications, and engineering innovation. Amman Arab University's participation aims to build bridges between universities and the labor market while enhancing student opportunities to develop entrepreneurial projects with tangible developmental impact, aligning with national economic priorities and the comprehensive modernization vision.
