
Amman Arab University Establishes Technical College in New Achievement Boosting Technical Education
In a strategic step reflecting its ongoing commitment to developing higher education and meeting local/regional labor market needs, Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, announced the Higher Education Council’s approval to establish a "Technical College" as a new addition to the university’s academic faculties. This pioneering achievement a first in the university’s history positions it among Jordan’s leading higher education initiatives.
The Technical College will deliver specialized educational programs focusing on advanced applied and technical skills, offering Bachelor’s and Diploma degrees in vital fields aligned with the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Professor Dr. Al-Widyan affirmed that launching the Technical College aligns with the university’s vision to enhance its role in preparing human cadres capable of leading the future: "We believe applied and technical education is foundational to developing the national economy. Establishing this college is a practical response to Jordan’s Economic Vision and Administrative Modernization Roadmap."
