Amman Arab University (AAU) Pharmacy Faculty Participates in a Scientific Workshop on Innovative Centrifuge Technologies and Practical Laboratory Solutions and Applications
As part of Amman Arab University’s commitment to strengthening its academic and community engagement and keeping pace with the latest developments in laboratory technologies, Dr. Hanan Al-Bataineh, a faculty member at the Faculty of Pharmacy, participated in the specialized scientific workshop entitled “Innovative Centrifuge Technologies and Practical Laboratory Solutions and Applications.” The workshop was organized by Modern Scientific Supplies Est. in cooperation with Hettich GmbH.
The workshop focused on the latest innovations in centrifuge technologies, practical laboratory solutions, and their advanced applications in medical and laboratory settings. It brought together around 90 specialists and interested participants and was marked by a high level of interaction and constructive scientific discussion, supported by valuable questions and feedback from attendees.
The program included both scientific and practical components, beginning with an introduction to the main concepts and terminology of centrifuge technologies, followed by a comprehensive presentation of Hettich GmbH products and specialized devices, and their applications. Participants also had the opportunity to engage directly with the equipment during the practical session and learn more about its operation in accordance with recognized professional standards.
The workshop also featured Mr. Dmitry Gusev, Senior Regional Sales Manager at Hettich GmbH, whose expertise enriched the discussions and added scientific and practical value through his detailed responses to participants’ inquiries.
This participation reflects the Faculty of Pharmacy’s commitment to supporting specialized scientific activities and strengthening collaboration with leading providers of laboratory technologies, thereby enhancing students’ readiness for the evolving needs of the labor market.
