
Amman Arab University (AAU) Announces Results of the Work Development and Performance Improvement Competition
Amman Arab University has announced the results of its "Work Development and Performance Improvement" competition, held under the patronage of University President Prof. Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan. The initiative reflects the university's policy to foster institutional innovation and a culture of excellence among faculty, staff, and students.
Dr. Al-Widyan expressed pride in the 58 submitted ideas, viewing them as a testament to a proactive and responsible university community. He announced that the first and second-place ideas would be adopted and implemented in partnership with their owners under the supervision of the university's Center for Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship. Furthermore, the competition will be institutionalized as an annual award named the "Amman Arab University Award for Institutional Innovation."
The winners are:
- First Place: Engineer Sarah Al-Rashidat for her "Course Equivalency E-Platform," an integrated platform to simplify university course equivalence procedures for students.
- Second Place: Dr. Manar Muzhir from the Faculty of Information Technology for her "Ma3adalaty" system, which automates university course equivalencies to speed up processes and reduce errors.
- Third Place: Dr. Falah Al-Ajmi for his "Partners in Quality Control" initiative, engaging students, staff, faculty, and visitors in evaluating daily campus services.
- Fourth Place: Students Ala'a Mustafa and Tulip Sa'dah for their "AAU AI — Registration Assistant," an AI-powered smart system to assist students during registration.
The winners thanked the university and encouraged continued participation in such quality initiatives.
