Delegation from the Executive Board of the IEEE / Jordan Branch Visits Amman Arab University
Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, received a delegation from the Executive Board of the Organization of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) / Jordan Branch, accompanied by Dr. Moataz Riyalat, Head of the Robotics and Automation (RAS) Class / Jordan Branch, and student Ahmed Abu Dayyeh, member of the (Sight/IEEE) group, in the presence of: Dr. Husam Al-Hamad, Dean of the College of Computer Sciences and Informatics, Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, Dean of the Colleges of Engineering and Aviation Sciences, Dr. Ismail Yassin, President of the Arab Society for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, and student Fakhri Al-Tamimi from Amman Arab University / Honorary Member of the IEEE.
During the meeting, many topics were discussed, the most important of which was the establishment of the IEEE branch at Amman Arab University and the contribution of the IEEE Robotics and Automation ,in addition to the First International Conference on Aeronautics and the Seventh International Conference on Robotics Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, which will be held at Amman Arab University in the period between 05/28-29/ 2024, where RAS/IEEE will participate in presenting the most important projects affiliated with RAS.
It is noteworthy that the IEEE “Organization of Electrical and Electronics Engineers” is the largest international organization concerned with technology, its development, and related scientific research in all fields, and it has several branches in many universities around the world whose mission is to educate students and help develop their skills and conduct various activities for students of all kinds.
