The Deanship of Student Affairs at Amman Arab University Visits the Royal Commission for Jerusalem Affairs

Believing in the firm vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein to provide Jerusalem and its Islamic and Christian sanctities the necessary capabilities and support, and under direct guidance from the President of Amman Arab University, Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, the Deanship of Student Affairs at the University, represented by its Dean, Professor. Khaled Bani, established Hamdan, his assistant, Dr. Alaa Al-Bawat, and the head of the Activities Department, Mr. Muhammad Bani Yassin, organized a visit to the general headquarters of the Royal Commission for Jerusalem Affairs

The delegation was received at the committee’s headquarters by the Secretary-General of the Committee, Mr. Abdullah Kanaan, Mr. Muhammad Sidr, Assistant Secretary-General, and Miss Sawsan Al-Kilani, Director of Public Relations and Media, who in turn showed the delegation scenes of the most prominent daily reports, the active role played by the Al-Quds Committee, and its distinguished agenda.

For his part, Professor. Khaled Bani Hamdan, Dean of Student Affairs, and the accompanying delegation praised the achievements of the Royal Committee for Jerusalem Affairs and its distinguished role in highlighting the honorable and firm Jordanian positions under the leadership of His Majesty the King towards Jerusalem and the Palestinian issue, as well as the charitable and humanitarian role that extended aid and assistance to the Palestinian people, in light of During this visit, ways of cooperation and the mechanism of supporting Jerusalem were discussed through development and charitable projects in light of the current and surrounding circumstances regarding the ongoing violations of the Holy Mosque, starting with the preparation for a symposium on the role of the Hashemite in Jerusalem and its place in Islam on the campus of Amman Arab University, which enhances interest in its historical site .

For his part, Professor Abdullah Kanaan thanked Amman Arab University for this visit and interest in learning about the most prominent work carried out by the Royal Commission, praising the University’s pioneering role and the local and international status it enjoys, stressing the importance of partnership and continued cooperation to support Jerusalem and the Palestinian cause. At the end of the meeting, the committee presented scientific literature and cultural publications talking about the prominent role of the Hashemite over the decades in the continuous preservation of the affairs of Jerusalem and the historical Islamic and Christian sanctities.
