His Excellency Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Phosphate Company Receives a Delegation from Amman Arab University Headed by University President

Amman - President of Amman Arab University, Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, visited the Phosphate Mines Company and met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors, His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al-Thunaibat, in the presence of Dr. Omar Al-Asaad, a faculty member in the College of Engineering, Dr. Ziyad Al-Matarneh , Dr. Alaa Al-Bawat, faculty members in the College of Business, and Mr. Anas Kaso from Media and Public Relations Department.

At the beginning of the visit, His Excellency Dr. Thuneibat welcomed the delegation and gave an overview of the company and its role in the national economy and possible areas of cooperation between the two sides. He also presented a summary of his long experience and his view of the continuation of the competitive advantage of Jordanian education in general and higher education in particular.

In turn, the President of the University, Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, thanked His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al-Thunaibat, and presented the University's vision and mission, and an overview of the University's colleges and its various majors, stressing that the University is keen to produce competent educational outputs that engage in the labor market effectively, and referred to the University's efforts in promoting the concept of social responsibility through the office of social responsibility that is unique to the University at the level of Jordanian universities, referring to the distinguished companies that the University enjoys with the private sector, expressing his hope to find common areas to activate cooperation between the two parties.

During the meeting, ways of scientific and research cooperation between the two sides were discussed, in addition to paving the way for signing a cooperation agreement to hold training courses and conduct research studies between the two sides.
