Conclusion of the Course "Managing and Leading Charitable Work at Amman Arab University in Cooperation with the Unified Mission Organization for Relief and Development and in partnership with Indiana University
Amman - His Excellency Dr. Omar Mashhoor Al-Jazi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Amman Arab University, sponsored the conclusion of the activities of the "Management and Leadership of Charitable Work" course hosted by the Amman Arab University and held by the Unified Mission Organization for Relief and Development _ Washington in cooperation with Indiana University
The course, which was presented by international directors, Dr. Sharq Siddiqi - Indiana University, USA and Director of its Islamic Charitable Action Initiative, and Dr. Samer Abu Rumman - Research Professor - Princeton University / United States of America, aimed to contribute to the interaction with the humanitarian sector from international bodies and local associations, disseminating the concepts of modern charitable work concepts, exchanging of experiences between the representatives of the participating parties in addition to transfer of the experiences of advanced charitable organizations such as the Unified Mission for Relief and Development - Washington
Representatives of local and international bodies and organizations from inside and outside the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan participated in the course, which lasted for four days.
On this occasion, Mr. Bassam Al-Bashaira, the university advisor for social responsibility at Amman Arab University, said that the organization of this course comes from the vision of the social responsibility office at the university in providing educational, training, research, social, and economic programs, projects and initiatives that promote sustainable development, in cooperation with various community institutions.
Representatives of local and international bodies and organizations from inside and outside the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan participated in the four-day session.
